Join us for the 25th Annual Stonewall Regatta and watch teams from across the US battle it out on "DC's other' river", the Anacostia. Fast paced races, cheering crowds, food trucks, music, no admission, and sunshine… What's not to love?!
The event is free to all (no admission).
Where to watch:
For the best view of the finish line and the pre- and post-race action (along with concessions and bathrooms), join us at the boathouse. For the best view of the complete race, we recommend the Anacostia Trail pedestrian bridge or across the river at Anacostia Park. See the race day and parking information sheet with details and maps below.
When to watch:
The races will run approximately 8am- 4:00pm. 2018 Heat Sheet will be posted when available. In addition, real time results will be available on Regatta Central.
What should I bring?
Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase from some of DC’s awesome food trucks, see regatta program. However, you are welcome to bring your own food and beverages as well. There is some space for team tents and chairs alongside the last part of the race course. Don’t forget water and sunscreen!
A commemorative regatta t-shirt will also available be for purchase.
How to get to the regatta:
DC offers a lot of options for getting to the regatta.
- The nearest Metro is “Potomac Avenue” (Orange and Blue lines).
- There are also a number of bus stops at 11th & M St SE, which is only a few minutes walk from the boathouse.
- For exact directions, visit Google Transit Map. Your end location is “1900 M St SE, Washington, DC 20003”.
How to get to the regatta by car:
