Employment Opportunities with DC Strokes
Building on a legacy of inclusion as the oldest LGBTQ+ rowing club in the nation, the mission of the DC Strokes Rowing Club (DCSRC) is to offer access to the competitive sport of rowing to people of all backgrounds and athletic abilities in the greater Washington, DC area at their home in the Anacostia River by:
Providing an opportunity for people to learn, develop, compete, and succeed in a supportive environment;
Developing outreach programs that promote general fitness, rowing, and environmental stewardship to individuals who might otherwise not have such opportunities;
Empowering and raising the visibility of LGBTQ+ athletes.
Help us continue making history by becoming a coach for DCSRC! We are always on the lookout for talented and motivated individuals who love the sport of rowing and want to impart that love to our members in a safe and welcoming environment.
Most programs are on the water late March through late October, and attend regattas in the summer and fall. Compensation is competitive, and dependent on experience.
