There are many myths about rowing:

  • You have to row in the morning. (Not true. We have morning and evening programs.)

  • You have to be tall. (Not true. We have rowers of all ages, shapes and sizes.)

  • You have to be "in shape" or "athletic." (Not true. Rowing is a low-impact, full-body workout that helps get you in shape. If you consider yourself to be athletic, that's great, but as an LGBTQ+ rowing club, we're not big on labels or stereotypes.)
