Code of Conduct
In supporting DC Strokes Rowing Club through sponsorship, organizations agree to abide by and honor, in both word and action, the following non-discrimination statement and code of conduct policy:
“All DC Strokes Rowing Club sponsors will provide service to individuals without regard to an individual’s sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, HIV/AIDS or other health status, race, color, national origin, ancestry, creed, religion, sex, gender, physical or mental ability, age, marital status, military or veteran status, citizenship, socioeconomic standing, or any other protected classification in accordance with state, federal, and municipal laws. All affiliated personnel acting in an official capacity (including staff, employees, and contractors) will interact with customers, clients, visitors, staff, and volunteers in a respectful manner at all times in accordance with this policy.”
Any actions taken or statements made to individuals or groups contrary to this policy or the spirit and intention of this policy will be considered a violation. Anyone found in violation of this agreement may see their relationship with DC Strokes Rowing Club terminated and all agreed upon sponsorship benefits and financial support forfeited.
Violations of this code should be presented to the DC Strokes Rowing Club Board of Directors. All decisions regarding enforcement or violations will be made at the discretion of the Executive Board.
